I am a 24 year old salesman for a large service company. Since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to start, build, and grow my own company. I graduated 2 years ago with a business degree and took the standard route most take and got a full-time job. I have full benefits, a base salary plus commission compensation plan, and a steady job in a growing industry. I’ve always wanted more, though. I always wanted that ownership in what I’ve been doing. I make 10% commission on what I sell and it bugs the hell out of me that I’m working hard for someone else to get wealthy. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I didn’t know where to begin with starting my own company.

As I write this, I am still employed full-time and I have had a very profitable business concept brewing in my head for the past 6 months. I’m finally taking my own advice which is to take calculated risks and pursue my interests fully. As of the beginning of ‘08, I am finally pursuing my dream of becoming a successful business owner.

This blog is a compilation of all my thoughts and opinions on the subjects of entrepreneurship, wealth building, business, and investing. Also, frequent readers will also see the progress of my startup venture. The reader will see the trials & tribulations as they happen, my successes and failures, my personal strengths and weaknesses, and see a time-stamped documented journal of my business from concept through execution.
